Vendor Spotlight: Woods Gardens

In honor of National Farmers Market Week, we’ve asked our growers to introduce themselves so you can get to know these great people working hard to bring us the best in local produce. First up is Woods Gardens from St. Anthony, owned and operated by Dave and Lisa Woods.

Fresh, home grown produce—that’s what Woods Gardens is. From the dirt right to your plate—you might want to wash it first, but it’s OK if you don’t, cuz dirt don’t hurt.

We have the first vertical strawberry patch in Idaho, we also have raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.

We have a truck garden at the place and we also sell in Rexburg at the Rexburg Farmers’ Market in the old Tabernacle parking lot behind Taco Bell on Friday evening from 4-8 p.m. and in Idaho Falls at the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from 9-1 p.m. in the Key Bank parking lot on Broadway on the river. Stop in and see us.

We also have four greenhouses that house tomatoes and long burpless, seedless cucumbers that are planted right in the ground, not hydroponically.
