This Friday, October 9 from 4-8 pm, will be the first annual Rexburg Farmers Market Harvest Festival. Our vendors will be decorating their booths to celebrate the Harvest season. We’ll have three different groups providing live entertainment including American Idol Contestant John Peter Lewis. There will be a variety of new and exciting additions to the typical market product mix.

We’re excited to have Pulled Pork Sandwiches provided by the Brigham Young University-Idaho AgBusiness students as well as having the Rexburg Kiwanis Club cooking up a mess of baked potatoes, a fundraiser they also do each year at the Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot.

The Rexburg Recreation Department will be hosting a Pumpkin Carving Competition which will be open to anyone wishing to bring a pre-carved pumpkin. They will also have free pumpkin painting for the first 40 children under the age of 10.

There will also be a competition for the largest pumpkin. We invite any and all who wish to enter a large pumpkin into the competition to have their pumpkin to the market by 3:30 pm.
