The Rexburg Farmers Market is held each Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm on College Ave.

Opening Day 2013

With all the snow outside it’s hard to imagine that in just 2 short months we’ll be celebrating the opening of the 5th season of the Rexburg Farmers Market.  The market will open this year on Friday, May 10, in the same location — right across the street from City Hall on First East.  We can’t wait to see our loyal customers again and welcome new friends to the market.  We’ve got great things planned for this year so check back here often and be sure to like our Facebook page to find out what’s happening at the market.  We’ll see you soon!

4th Annual Harvest Festival — Friday, Oct. 12

Join us tonight at the market for our annual Harvest Festival celebrating the last night of the market.  There will be free pumpkin decorating for the kids and market giveaways all night.  We also have a great lineup of live entertainment tonight including the cast of Deep Love: A Ghostly Folk Opera, the Betty’s (it was too cold last week) & Ron Ferguson.

Don’t miss your last chance to stock up on local produce like winter squash, onions, potatoes, carrots, beets, apples, and more.  There is also a huge selection of pumpkins at great prices starting with mini pumpkins 4 for $1.

See you there!

Cherry Berry Festival

this Friday, July 6, 2012

It’s the season for cherries, strawberries, and blueberries at the market and what better way to celebrate sweet berry goodness than with a good old fashioned Pie Baking Contest!  Click here download the rules for the contest and show up at the market with a pie or two!

If you’re better at eating pies than baking them, you should enter our pie eating contest!  Or help us judge which pies will take home the prize!  We’ll have some free activities for the kids and a few market giveaways too.  And don’t forget to pick up some of those delicious local and regional berries and cherries while you’re there.

It’s Kids Day at the Market!

Bring the whole family down to the market for an evening of fun!  The fun begins at 4:00 with free garden crafts and seed planting for the kids, and the Rexburg Fire Dept. will be there with a fire engine too!  Our annual ladybug release will happen at 6:00 — over 10,000 ladybugs! And Mexican Folk Dance Group “Tradiciones” will perform at 7:00.  Don’t forget your grocery list too — New to the market this week is Deep Roots Farm with their fresh, local raw milk.  And fresh at the market this week we’ve got local strawberries, Washington cherries, sugar snap peas, spinach, lettuce and more.
