We are drawing very near to the first ever Rexburg Farmers Market. We on the advisory board are excitedly working to get everything put together to make this the best possible experience for all of you, as well as your customers.

Important Dates:

June 18 – 6:00 p.m.  –  Final Vendor Training Meeting at the Westwood Theater

June 19 – 4:30 p.m. –   Deadline to apply to sell at the June 26 Market (paper applications to city hall)

June 22 – 9:00 a.m.  –  Deadline to submit applications by email (Andrew.williams@rexburg.org)

June 24 – 4:30 p.m.  –  Deadline to submit vendor agreements (if you’ve already applied to sell)

June 26 – 4 – 8 p.m. –  Inaugural Rexburg Farmers Market!!!

This Thursday (June 18) we will be having our last vendor meeting before the market begins. It will take place at 6:00 pm in the Westwood Theater. In this meeting we will once again cover how to get a tax identification number as well as how to go about paying your state sales taxes. This will also be a great opportunity to get all of your last minute questions answered.

We will also have applications to sell available at the meeting which can be submitted afterwards to Lisa Jones. If you have not filled out your tax forms and submitted them to Lisa, you’ll need to get them from her at the meeting tomorrow night. Every vendor is required to fill out the tax forms to either get a tax identification number or, if you already have a number, you’ll need to fill out the forms so that we know your tax identification number.

We are still accepting applications to sell at the market throughout the summer. If you have not yet submitted your application to sell at the market, you’re not too late. We will be accepting paper applications to sell at the June 26 market until the end of the day on Friday, or, if you would prefer to email your application, they will be accepted until 9:00 am on Monday morning. For all other market dates, we need to have your application at least a week and a half before your first chosen market.

For those of you who have submitted your applications to sell at the market on June 26, you should have received a vendor agreement form from Andrew Williams. That form needs to be submitted along with your payment for market membership and booth space by Wednesday, June 24. If you did not receive that form please contact Andrew and let him know so that he can get it to you ASAP.
